Package No. 2

The full Events Centre / Nkosi Garden setup for your celebration: the venue itself, tenting, seating, dressed chairs, tables with cloths and security at the gate. Catering and decoration are arranged by you.

Also available for hire

  • Extra chairs, tables and cloths are available for hire if you need more than the package quantities.
  • Also for hire: chair covers, runners, tie backs, cutlery, platters, plates, bain maries, carpet runners, green turfs and many more function-related items.

Important terms & information

  1. We do not provide catering or decoration services.
  2. A room is available for storage of drinks and similar items for your convenience, but there are no cooling troughs.
  3. The minimum deposit is K400,000. The balance may be spread in comfortable instalments as long as the full amount is paid before the function date.
  4. There is a list of DJs who comply with City of Blantyre sound-management rules. After a venue booking is confirmed, the list can be made available for your selection. These DJs are not part of the Events Centre; they are DJs familiar with Blantyre City's regulations and requirements.
  5. Cancellation: 60% of the amount paid will be retained by the Events Centre as a Loss of Business fee.
  6. One postponement is allowed at no extra charge if it remains within the same year as the booked date. If postponed to the next year, you pay the prevailing package cost for that year.
